Allergy and Asthma Relief

Why your allergist is more important than your yoga instructor

In today's demanding society, many people actually have to schedule time to relax. But when simply breathing or living in your own skin becomes uncomfortable or unbearable, the last thing you want to do is slow down and focus your awareness on the present moment. Thus, asthma and allergies increase your stress both directly and indirectly.

Managing your allergic condition can improve your overall health and quality of life immensely. By working with an allergist, you can take advantage of the latest allergy and asthma treatments and get significant relief. You can also learn to create supportive working and living environments that are less likely to exacerbate your symptoms. Then you will be free to practice true mindfulness and experience health and joy on a daily basis.

Helping children with allergies

Childhood should be a happy time of growth, wonder, and learning. Allergies, asthma, and skin conditions introduce an element of seriousness into your child's life far too soon. Health problems may cause your child to miss active play, sports, and outdoor pursuits. Worse, allergies and other challenges can lead to missed school days and even bullying.

A board-certified allergist can assess your child and administer effective treatments in the right doses for smaller bodies and younger systems. With consistent, quality care, kids can get back to the classroom and the playground with a smile.

What Our Patients Say

  •

We were referred to Associated Allergists by our pediatrician, and overall we are pleased. Whenever we have a test done on our daughter, we come here to have the results dissected and reviewed. Dr. Hunter, who we've seen at least 3 times, is quiet ,but very nice and knowledgeable. Haven't had any experience with any other doctor there, but overall we are happy with our visits.

Dr. Hunter and his staff were very professional. Before taking the skin test, Dr. Hunter asked me several questions to understand me and my family's history of allergies, when my outbreaks started/occur and the symptoms I was experiencing. By doing so he selected allergens he felt I could be allergic too and I appreciated his thoroughness. In fact, I was surprised we identified a couple of allergens I never knew I was allergic too.
